Help with understanding my light switch wiring

Hi - I am looking for some advice and help with the installation of a smart light switch.
Firstly I would like some help in understanding the wiring set up I have on the switch to replace.
I live in a new house so I expected the wiring to be good and easy to follow but....
In the pictures you can see its a simple on/off switch to one light, there is one live wire to com and 2 live wires to L1. Neutral wires are joined in a block.

Q1: What sort of smart switch do I need? With or without netrual?
Q2: How do I then wire it to the new smart swicth?

Any advice and help would be really appreciated

That looks just wrong

Live (line) should be brown (no extra sleeve) and wired into Com
Switched live (line) is normally blue with a brown sleeve

Get a tester and see which wire goes live when the switch is activated, and which is permanently live

However I'd get a friendly electrician to check the wiring generally if a new house

Obviously the apprentice was let loose on that one...

In general, the live input to the smart switch will be the 2 brown wires twisted together and the single wire the output. You don't need to switch the neutral, just add a wire to provide a neutral to the smart switch if required.
