I dragged the in-laws into the 21st century by buying them a Pacific 1002 from Asda (last of the big spenders), but I'm having problems with interference.

Their telly is a Philips 32PW9308

The Pacific is connected via scart and set up for RGB. However, when you switch to the AV1 input, you get what I call "floaters". I'm sure there is a correct term for this, but basically you still get remnants of whatever tv station you were on panning from left to right.

For example, last night when I was trying to set it up I could still see outlines of Dirty Den et al from BBC 1 while I was trying to watch Runaway Jury on the DVD.

    Any ideas?

I wasn't aware that you could tell AV1 to output the tuner, but if it's possible that sounds like a possibility (if you see what I mean). I'll try it.
