Just got a raise at work (miracles do happen) and need to upgrade my speakers after youngest son sent one of them crashing during a game of footy in the house - I can still hear the wife saying "I told you not to play football indoors" !!!

Anyway, I have MF A3 CD and A3 amp, thinkin 'bout B&W 603's or the CDMNT7's (think the code is right, its the standmounter that cost bout £750). Thing is, I do like my Bass and don't know if CDM's are up for it.
Any thoughts on this or any others to audition (have up to £800 to spend).

This is all on a 2 channel system only

I'd have the CDM1NT (it's the one you mean) with it's matching stand, rather than the 603. They are much more refined, and more suitable IMHO for stereo sound, like music. They cost £950 with the stands (£200), but are well worth it.

Then, when you get a raise next year, get a sub for extended bass :D.

    Cheers,
    Liam

I would get a ASW2500 when you can afford it to go with the CDM1NT's. Cost you about £1,800 with good cables in total. Much better than a pair of 603's.
