I have a BeoPlay S8 (Bang & Olufsen, subwoofer with two speakers) and I want to connect with my Denon AVR-x2100w, as a 2.1 setup.

Waht should be the best option to connect it with the best quality?

I'm thinking about connecting the two speakers directly into the front left and front right speakers terminals.

The subwoofer I intend to connect to the receiver's #1 pre out.

The thing is about the wires, as the subwoofer is connected with a powerlink in one end and a double RCA male black at the other end to connect with the receiver, and the receiver has a pre-out hole for just one wire... What should I do? Buy an adaptor to jack the two black male RCA into one and connect it to the receivers pre out?

And with the speakers... Is is ok for me to buy new wires to plug them into the gold plated screws in the receiver's speaker terminal?
