Hi guys, i have a 27inch iMac and up until earlier today have had no problems with it. But earlier when i tried to download a blackberry app for mac from safari I ran in to an issue. Once the app had installed it needed to restart the mac to Finnish the installation, which it did. But upon rebooting when i went to use the safari app it no longer worked. The icon was still there but when i clicked on it nothing happens. I have since tried many things to try and get it back up and running but nothing i have attempted has worked so far. if anyone reading this has any idea why this has happened or how to get safari working again i would very much appreciate any help that can be given.

    Thanks

    Ben

Have you tried using Spotlight to find the Safari app and opening from there?

I asked about uninstalling the Blackberry app, not Safari.

Finnish is the most difficult Scandinavian language.

Whoah, you started off with a "blackberry app" but now you are discussing a "safari app" - or do you mean that Safari.app itself doesn't work?

    Which icon, where?

Why not start again and this time state:
Your exact 27inch Mac model (which CPU?)
    Your OSX version.
    Your Safari version.
Exactly what app you are discussing (include a link to it).

Then someone might be able to reproduce what you are doing and make a meaningful comment, instead of trying to guess.
