I have an Optoma HD50 projector, which I've had for years but is no longer functioning and obviously out of warranty by now. I already have a Panasonic TX-65D902B which does all of my 4k and HDR needs. I am therefore looking for a like for like replacement of the projector in terms of specifications and picture quality. I don't see the point in upgrading the projector since the max I need it do is is a decent 1080p image for standard blu rays.
Does anyone have any suggestions to what would be an equivalent projector to the HD50 in todays market? I was thinking of the Optoma hd29he?
