Help with picture

    ok i bought a goodmans dvd recorder today GDVD 303 but the picture is really bad

    when its connected and u view tv or sky through it the picture has like another picture shadowing in the backround, also tried runnign sky on it own incase it was the tv picture showing through but still no good

    what is causing it and how can this b sorted

    when i record and playback the picture is the same (showing shadow)

    How is the TV and Sky connected to the DVDR?

    there a scart lead going from the sky to tv and 1 from sky to the dvdr and then 1 from the dvdr to tv

    i have also tried connecting sky to dvdr via s-video but still bad picture and also i have no sound at all via any connections

    Have a look in the user manual and report back if the DVDR has an RF modulator...if it has it may be set too near or clashing with another channel.
    Use good quality individually screened scart leads.
    An S-Video connection only carries the picture, you need to connect the audio separately.
