help with picture

hi i have a isis 42" tv , i have run a coaxil cable from a aeriel booster which is conected to sky which runs all the tv's in the house . i have magic eyes on all of them so i can change to sky ,every other tv is ok apart from this one ,the freeview pic is perfect which tells me the signal is ok, but when i change to anologue the sky is a bad pic apart from through the middle of it ,tried fine tuning but had no luck, is the tv no good,or could it be something else

What do you mean by this bit?

Try taking this TV to one of the other rooms and connect it in place of the TV in there and see if it's the same.
 
i mean that the pic is snowy apart from about 4" though the middle of it .

Do the test that JayCee suggested and let us know the result.
 
Sounds like a hum bar indicating a fault with the tv. Could've been the distribution amp if they were all like this. But they're not.

As suggested, take a pic of the fault.
 
done it tried it in another room was ok, took off the aeriel connector and 1 and only 1 of the outer coaxial cable was touching the middle one causing interferance

just one question how comes there was no interferance with the freeview pic ?
