Hi there guys,
Firstly, thanks for you all that give me a little of your time and attention.
Secondly, I struggling with a simple (at least I think it would be) AV system.
I got a LG PF50KS...An affordable projector that I need to send its audio to a very simple and compact analog mixer that will feed my PA Speakers system.
So...The projector has two HDMI ports (Both tested), one headphone out and nothing else (as far as I know) to handle audio. I bought a HDMI Converter (HDMI to HDMI + Audio) to match the line signal level (I deduced that headphone out has an amplified signal with difference impedance levels too).
So I got this:
Projector HDMI 1 > Converter HDMI IN port > Converter L/R Out > Analog Mixer Line In Stereo Channel
I got NO AUDIO with that setup.
I tested the Converter with another setup that worked well and it was:
BD-Player HDMI Port > Converter HDMI IN port > Converter L/R Out > 2.1 Multimedia Speakers
NOTE 1: In this scenario the Converter HDMI Out port was connected to my TV.
NOTE 2: I did several double checks on Simplink settings and Audio Output destination in projector settings.
NOTE 3: The manual mention that HDMI 1 port has ARC (Audio Return Channel) support, but I'm not sure about how use this feature.
Ok...now I think I explained everything.
Once again, thank you all and have a nice weekend.
