This is my first posting. i tried posting it earlier and it has somehow dissappeared. Can someone give me advice on the Panasonic TH-37PA50B? i have seen it advertised for about half price - £1200. i am hoping to attach it to an av amp and the Kef's 2005's. looks like a good deal.

    thanks

    Nij

well it wont have panny at home warranty, is it that much cheaper than a 37PE50? NOPE its only £250 cheaper.... does that price include a stand? Doesnt have Digital Freeview tuner either, its up to you whether you want to risk £1200 on a none UK product Warranty would be RTB, and no FV tuner or pay a bit more for UK stock:

I need a specialist wall mount which i have located. It needs an arm. i cannot use the standard wall mounts these retailers (must surely) give?

This price is £470 more than the panny i mentioned before. i am on a tightish budget but dont want to compromise either. I am spending nearly £1000 on speakers and AV amp.

surely i would be covered by my home insurance if anything were to go wrong with it?

Not for electrical break down you arent, AV-sales will probably be able to supply the swing arm mount you mention so, ask them if they can do a deal, also if you havent bought the kefs i suggest you consider these http://www.canton.de/www/index.php4?pg_id=14,14,,2,en

    Hi Nijhar

I got mine from Robert Whyte in Glasgow:
    http://www.robertwhyteltd.co.uk/sites/itemview.asp?productx=TH37PE50

They supply the free DVD recorder (not all e-tailers do!) DMR-ES10 and the thing that swung it for me - FREE 5 YEAR WARRANTY

Service was fantastic - ordered by phone Wednesday, delivered on Friday am.

Don't know if they can help with the mount requirements but give them a call...

    Cheers
    David
