    Hi

I think its time for a new camcorder but which one to go for is just too much to take in so was hoping for some help :)

At the mo i have a jvc gr-dvx8 which is fine except it will no shoot in low light which is anoying sometimes!

Also for some reason when i use pinnacle 8 for capture it does not reconise the stop gaps in the movie so everytime it it paused it should start a new frame section but it never does so i end up having to set my own every 3 mins or so! (which is not good when editing as i end up with 60 mins of footage in one strip)

So what do you all reccomend budget around £500

    shane

    Sony DCR-PC105E

This is the only one i have looked at so far bit over budget?Unless somebody knows somewhere cheap for it :)

What about the Sony DCR-PC109/E ?

Is this the one which replaced the pc 105?

If your shooting in low light you need a camera with a large aperture ie a smaller F number. My JVC GRDV700 has a F1.2 aspherical lense making it a good low light cam. Keep an eye out for the F number!
