Help with my Windows 7 connection problems.

I basically cannot get online with windows 7, either wired or wireless. I think it might be a driver issue so will look into it. But the pci wireless adapter i am using is quite generic so am a bit stumped. It just seems to not recognise it

what is the adapter you are using?
can you see it in device manager?

Im using a 'marvell' pci adaptor as far as i can tell, it doesnt show up on device manager and the little led is not lit on the pci card itself.

Also when i plug a wired connection into the ethernet port (connected to the motherboard) the light by that port lights up, but windows still says no connection available
