    hiya all,

I currently have a Denon AVC-A1SR amp and am planning to get a lumagen video scaler.

Its been said that when using a video scaler you will need audio delay.
Unfortunately my dvd player and the scaler doesnt have it and id like to know if my amp will be ok to rely on???

    Hope someone will know?????

The A1SR should have master audio delay (the KAVC-A1SE upgrade to the AVC-A1SE offered 0-200ms delay so it should, otherwise it's a bit of a backward step)

The A1SR does have it. Each input (DVD, CD etc) can have a seperate setting from 0-200ms. Bear in mind it's only an accessible option in the main Setup Menu when the sound signal you are inputting is DIGITAL or converted to digital using a mode such as Dolby PLII. No option will appear if you feed the amp an Analogue signal.
