Hi Guys I am planning to buy a LCD screen for my living room and the distance between my sofa and the wall on which I am planning to mount the screen is 12 feet. So I finally decided to go for a screen between 36 to 40 but honestly I can decide which one to go for. I have seen a few good reviews for both 37wlt56 and the le40r51b. I am willing to pay between £1500 to £1700.

Thanks for your help!!

Sharp GD7 and JVC DS6 would be my two preferred choices in the 37" size. If you can either wait or scrounge up the extra, @ £2100 the Sony V40 would be another one to consider.
Finally, if you're not against grey imports, for £1100 you can have the Benq 37" full HD TV - 1920x1080 instead of the others 1366x768 resolution. Be warned though, as Benq UK don't officially bring it in yet, the reseller will need to replace or return it to Germany for repair.
At the price though, and with Benq's rep as a computer monitor manufacturer, and owned by AUO, the panel manufacturer, I wouldn't envisage too much by way of problems.
