Hey there people, just installed IE 7 (going to still install Windows Service Pack 3)
and have to say it's very diff using it on my own pc rather than other peoples, lol

But 1 prob is each time i open a window or tab a small bar comes up saying:
your current security settings may put your computer at risk, etc...

you can click on the cross, but its p*****g me off as its coming up every single time

Any way to stop it coming completly, and no i don't want to change my settings, plz

Also people any way i can move the address bar a bit lower to where it used to be and move the file, edit buttons back up??

    Any help plz people, cheers

IE tools, options, security, set each of the 4 icons to DEFAULT.
Also in "general", Tabs, set the first 6 tick boxes. And the dropdown to "Your first home page".
Should now run a lot smoother.

think you might be stuck with it then

message - "your current security settings may put your computer at risk, etc..."

but you dont want to change your security settings....

I dont think it can be disabled any other way. Which part of the security settings are you refusal based on - maybe theres a way to set them specifically.

Right click the box and open the security panel, check the box I have a firewall/security solution I will monitor myself. This should stop it but would not advise internet use without some kind of firewall/antivirus running
