Help with intermittant fault.....

My system seems to have developed some sort of intermittant fault. It was bought used, and for the first month or so performed without a hitch. During the last few listens, the left channel/speaker loses sound and all I can hear is a sort of fuzzy crackling which also appears to be in time with the music. The right channel is unaffected.

I have checked the connections and all is well. The fault occurs similarly on different sources (cd/TT), and I'm a little concerned.

Any ideas what this might be? Am concered there may be a problem with the Amp...

Thanks in advance for any help,

Cheers,

Tom.

Have sent you a PM and if same thing happens on the same speaker :( it will probably mean it's your amp.
