First Post...looking for some advice.About to purchase a Philips 37PF9946 and a Denon DHT 500.Will be using a standard Sky digital box.Wall is raggled and plasterer is coming at end of week so I want to have interconnections in place prior to him coming.Want to know the best way to connect these three bits of kit. Also if I need speaker cable other than that supplied by Denon.Prepared to spend a fair bit of cash but don't want to go over the top.Any advice greatly appreciated. The plasma has 1 RGB SCART,1 S-VHS SCART and one ordinary S-VHS connection.

Ideally you should use a scart splitter to the RGB input on the Phillips, thereby getting the best picture possible for Sky+ and the Denon.

I found the speaker cable ample for my room which is about 22 x 12, rear two speakers on back wall, front two by the tv.
