Is it possible to get more power for similar budget or similar setup for less?

Gaming. Sorry, I couldn't let it go. I can't really help with the build but I'm sure someone will be along soon to help.

In terms of the general spec it should do you pretty well. Ive got the same build in terms of processor, gpu and ram and dont have any complaints gaming at 1080p.

If you wanted to push the budget out a bit, you could always look at going to a 7950 which shouldnt be too much more or possibly some better cpu cooling so you can overclock your 3570. If your not gonna overclock the cpu, just go for the standard 3570.. might save you a couple of quid.

I am thinking of OC , but that at later date, also at later date planning to get SSD aswell.

Must admit I wish Id got an ssd for mine. The one thing letting the build down now is the hard drive is just a bog standard 7200rpm 1tb drive which is a bit of a bottleneck... That said, just about everything's working great so far
