I'm trying to upgrade my speaker set up. I have a pioneer VSX-d712
I have a B&W s3 centre and want to start buying all my B&W gear to replace my eltax..... ok sorry I will refer to it as e***x. It's all a bit poo in comparison. I have a atomic A12.2 sub which is fine with music but with movies seems to miss bits and constantly switches off and on with no bypass for the auto off.

    My plan is...
Fronts DM603 or DM602 on stands
    Rear DM600 or LM1s or M1's
Sub well I was thinking to get AW608 or AW610

I wanted some opinions on a good set up. The room is quite small really 4m x 4m
If I get DM603 will I even need a sub? Any opinions on a good set up in that size room would be good. I've been slowly collecting gear but I'm no expert. And being in the depths of Cornwall there isn't anywhere to go to test try out or even look at good gear. Very isolated
    Need more experienced opinions.

Yeah I have seen them. I was thinking about getting them but I was going to try and stick to the light grey s3.... But I could be persuaded at the right price perhaps. Sorry just moved house and have tight budget for a bit.

The DM602s are good speakers! :) However I would watch out with S2 of the whole of the 600 series. B&W have now discontinued support the tweeters and no longer make these now. I used to have a CC6 centre (also series 2) and basically had to sell it for spares after the tweeter was knackered!

Alternatively have a look at the newer 600 series, if you want B&Ws. A 684 floorstander with a HTM62 centre sounds great! Good luck with the setup.
