    Not for me.

    What would you suggest as a Good AV Amp.

    Must have DPLII and EX and good with sterio music.

    Max budget £500

    try the new marantz range. they have dpl2 and are good with music. i have the entry level sr4300 and bought it with the intention of using it 50% for music, and am quite pleased with it. i think the sr5300 or sr7300 are more in the price range you are looking at. they all have es ex etc. as well!

    ALso have a look at the Denon AV1803 and 2803...both are good value and have all the features you've spec'd.

    so whats the difference between the 4300 and 5300

    i think about 10 watts per channel. the sr4300 has 6 x 80 watts and the sr 5300 is about 90 or 95 watts per channel.
    as far as i know that`s the only difference.

    SR 4300 239:95 at RS today 'Managers Special' 'cos they've got no 4200's :) :)

    Don't know if that is just the Newcastle branch though??
