    Hi guys,

At the moment my father has an Onkyo TX-SR504 which isnt a bad amp but lacks HDMI and displays 'overheat' whenever it is turned up relatively loud and a film requires a dynamically powerful output, presumably because the tv rack only has about 5cm ventilation space above the unit.

With a budget of £300 I am looking for an amp which meets the following criteria -

3 HDMI Inputs minimum that will carry audio
Relatively low heat output, eg will operate in the current location without turning itself off!
Will work seamlessly with a Logitech Harmony One

I have looked at the Sony STR-DG820 and the Denon 1909, although have heard that the Denon can cause problems with the Harmony remote, and I will be doing the installation so the fewer problems the better!

All advice is appreciated, cheers guys.

I've just bought an Onkyo 606,has 4 HDMI inputs, being used in a semi confined space,no problems as yet with heat etc and it works with my Harmony One :smashin:
