help with audigy2 zs to amp

    need a bit of help with setting this up. I have a lead connected from the digital out on the soundcard to one of the inputs on my digital processor, the processor then conects to my amp and i switch 5.1 on the amp but nothing happens

    Depends on what you are trying to do:

    To watch DVD movies theres to settings you need to look at. No.1 the software used to play the dvd and the creative audio HQ settings...

    If you open up the Audio HQ there is a setting for SPDIF passthrough. The other option is use internal decoder. Don't go for this. Set it to bypass.

    In the software under audio /dvd playback there will be an option to output via SPDIF, set this. Other options normally are 2 to 8 speakers etc...

    That will ensure that all movie playback is output in the proper manner to give you DD/DTS.

    correct advice from simoof,if still no output then try upgrading the soundcard driver from www.creative.com .
