Question Help with an old TV

    Hello, I could use some quick help with this one, a friend of mine wants to hook up a console to his old TV using composite cables, however the ports on the TV are very weird and we're not sure if they're broken or usable, so if anyone could tell us how they are supposed to be used if they are usable it would be of great help. Here's a picture of the ports below:

    As you can see, the ports are clearly marked (INPUT, and audio and video marked below), but they seem to be closed and he says he can't open them. Any tips are appreciated.

    Your friends TV doesn't have the neccesary inputs, they're blanked off because they're not there but similar models released at the same time will have them which means the manufacturer only has to fit one back panel to both models.
    However all is not lost, simply get a switched scart to phono adaptor (with the switch set to “in”) and connect the games console via the RCA phono inputs on it.
