Hi Guys!!

So I need help, I havent been on this forum for ages and I am buying a new laptop next month, can I have some opinions on which is better? I will be mostly using my laptop for Photoshop, watching DVDs, playing Music and browsing the web. I won't be playing many high ended games as I have an xbox 360, the maximum it would be would probably be Peggle [addictive lol].

I was looking at for both laptops I am considering. I am swayed by Acer as I have had one before and they are excellant but put off by the intergrated graphics card as the Samsung has a decicated one [does that even matter? Not clued up enough on periferials]. The Acer has 120gb more HD than Samsung and also cheaper as well, so that's a bonus!

So, down to business, here are the Specs

Thanks for your help :D

if you choose the acer....it comes with all stupid acer E software,Which is not covered by an warranty.Even though they installed it.Acer support charge 50p a min for software advice.Even though it's theirs

If I choose Acer, I would be uninstalling the software anyway, I wouldnt really need it.

Don't uninstall the trackpad software or it'll stop working (grumble grumble grumble acer).

Internal vs. dedicated graphics card doesn't matter if you're not using it's processing power (e.g. gaming, photoshop, folding@home etc.). Vista's Aero interface is an exception as that uses it but I think the 4500 is supposed to be pretty good at it.

I can't comment on build quality and similar but from the specs they don't seem to be missing anything you'd expect from a £400 laptop.
