I've had my Viera 42' for about 6 months, and I've got some Major problems!!
Every other day, no matter if it's been on for 12 hours or 12 mins, the screen goes all fuzzy, and it does it on all sources, av1 av2, dvd etc,the screen goes blocky with pink, green white etc.

I bought it from AV-Sales, who i rang and to be honest just pushed me straight to Panasonic and showed none of there famous customer service, now the point I'm asking is "Is it to be sorted by them or Panasonic? And has anyone esle seen this error?

    Many thanks,

    Bobby

That's a strange one. I reckon AV sales have ducked out for the moment as it's too hard! I sympathise.... Where are you, clearly it needs looking at by someone.

I think its another call to Av sales(firm but polite) maybe mention that a certain forum will be hearing about the problem if nothing is sorted :D . Quite strange as AV sales are normaly tip top :smashin:

As far as consumer rights, I think that your contract is with them not panasonic anyway as they supplied you with the goods. Did you take out any extended warranty?

It almost sounds like it is slipping into s-video mode. Sorry for sounding insulting, but its not someone pressing input selection twice and getting an input switch?

Just a quick post to make sure my feelings are known about AV-Sales.
I'm very happy with the aftercare service i'm getting and i'm in constant contact with them over my problem.(they are sorting it)
The reason i went to them in the first place is because of there rep' for after care, so please don't think i'm having a pop at the Gang from AV-Sales. :hiya:

good luck Bobby. I'm sure Panny will sort you out.
I know its a different company, but I had (one) dead pixel on a 4 month old Hitachi and got a brand new set - no problems.
These company's should sort you out with a new set, as they probably realise you will buy again from them if they are positive with after sales care.

Not seen or heard of this at all, And I do check in on all the Viera threads :D
It is probably in the best place with Panasonic, although do stay in touch and ontop of them as to how long it will take to repair/replace ect. There is nothing worse than seeing something like this on your nice expensive display :( so I do sympathise. If you can Let us all know what exactly they say is the problem it will be good for future reference.
    I am actually woundering what
    Hornydragon,
    Maw,
    Gordon,
Or Piers, from these very forums
would make of this and wether they have seen it on any of the other panasonic models , the pw6/7 for example.

It almost looks as though the panel is separating out the red green and blue signals and not putting them together in one coherent picture.

Or your watching a bad pirate of the matrix :D (sorry ;) )

It may be worth sending a PM (private message) to Maw, horny , piers or gordon, with this picture as an atachment and see what they say.
