At the moment im looking at 3 Toshiba TV's. The trouble is that i cant decide between them because they all have different things i want. The reason why im only looking at Toshiba's is that they are the only TV's in the UK with Component inputs which i want for my US Gamecube. Here they are:

    Toshiba 28Z07B

    LINK: http://www.empiredirect.co.uk/productdetailsnew.asp?modelcode=TOS-28Z07B

This is 28", 16:9, Flat Screen, 3 SCARTS, Pro Logic sound, component inputs

    £566.53inc VAT

    Toshiba 32Z17B

    LINK: http://www.empiredirect.co.uk/productdetailsnew.asp?modelcode=TOS-32Z17B

This is 32", 16:9, Flat Screen, 3 Scarts, Pro Logic Sound, Component Inputs

    £799.95inc VAT

    or this

    Toshiba 28ZD06B

    LINK: http://www.techtronics.com/uk/shop/862-toshiba-28zd06b-crt-widescreen-tv.html

This is 28", 16:9, 100Hz Flat Screen, 3 Scarts, NICAM Sound, Component Inputs

    £793.13inc VAT AND delivery

So what should i get? should i get the cheaper 28" Pro Logic one, the more expensive 32" Pro Logic one, or the 28" one which IS 100hz and is the same price as the 32" but is only NICAM?

Basically, is 100hz worth sacrificing 4inches and Pro Logic for?

ANY help would be MUCH appreciated as i havent seen the difference 100hz makes.

Only you can decide if 100hz is worth the difference as it is a personal thing. Some people can see the 50hz flicker, some cannot so you need to see for yourself if you find the 100hz picture better.

Tosh haven't been updating their 28" range. It appears that they are almost giving up with such small widescreen sets. If you haven't looked at the sets, you will find when you do look at one, that 28" WS is quite small.

    32" is more desirable.

Tosh are not the only brand to put component video on their televisions although they use it more widely than the other brands.

thanks for your help. I want to get the 32", but ive never seen a 100hz TV in action so i dont know how much better it is, or if it would be worth sacrificing the size of screen for 100hz or not. Ive never noticed any flicker on 50hz TV's so im guessing the 32" will be the way to go. The cheapest place ive found it is for £753 on http://www.hispek.com. Anyone know if they are a good retailer, or of any other's worth checking out?
