    All,

could you help me choose a good Plama TV? I am sure you will have the best suggestion for me!

Here are the 3 choices I am currently thinking of: 1- Hitachi 42PD7500; 2- fujitsu P42HTA51ES (from richer sound); 3- Pioneer PDP-436SXE.

All I am interested is the quality of the image (in particular for watching DVDs and cable).

Can anyone also recommend a good DVD player for the TV? And where is the best price for TV and DVD player?

Thank you very much for your advise!

By no means am I an expert on this (far from it) but I looked at the Panny PV500 and the Pioneer 436XDE, next to each other, in several shops, over several weeks before choosing the Pioneer.

The Panny has a very crisp image but the Pioneer had a little something else that I could only describe as a "cinema" quality.

You'll get lots of differing opinion though, I'm sure. At the end of the day, when spending that kind of money, you have to trust your own opinion.

Look at them all and decide which YOU think has the best PQ!

Surely the Pioneer is the only choice to make out of those 3? Or is it a trick question?

    Hi

if you`re spending that kind of money get some demo`s from specialist dealers ,don`t judge by what you see in the likes of curry`s/comet and the like.I spent about 4wks reviewing and reading mags and forums eventually went for the Pioneer 436xde the best IMHO.If your planning on putting it on the wall remember the 436 is controlled via a media box so you only have 2 cables going to the screen everything else plugs into the media box.

    good luck
    :smashin:
