Just picked up a Panasonic HDTV Plasma. Does anyone know how to hook up a Tivo so it's not connected directly to the TV. I need to have the cable box directly hookup up to the TV to get the HDTV signal.

I have an A/V Receiver and DVD player which completes the system. The DVD and cable are hooked up directly to the TV.

    Thanks.

So what you're saying is that you've run out of inputs at the back of the TV?
Does your amp have video throughputs? A lot of AV amps have video and audio switching. If so then you could feed your DVD player and TiVO output into your AMP and then your amp into your TV.
Most of the time the source on your amp would be cable. When you watch a DVD, you'd switch the source for audio and video.
The only downside is the amp has to be on all the time.

THe only other option would be to get a video switcher box with two inputs and one output.
That's my not so informed advice.
