Help: Sony DCR-HC18E

Hi

First post on here so hello to all.....


I have just got the above camcorder and the picture quality is slightly grainey, I have tested it on all settings ie Indoor, outdoor and Auto all settings seem to give the same result.

Also the audio on playback is quite hard to hear! Is this normal I ordered this from an online shop and only have to Tuesday to send it back to them if I am not happy.

Any advice, tips would be much appreciated :thumbsup:
 
i've got a DCR-HC14 and the sound and vision are fantastic, no grain at all. I dont know if that helps?

hi newbiecam

try switcing of the steady shot to see if it makes a difference and to increase the volume switch to play/edit and press VOL and then prss + and - to increase/decrease the volumme.

one favour from you please, i have the same cam but i dont know how to save the data on the tape onto the hard disk of the computer, how do you do this?
