Help! Sony Bravia kdl-24ex320

Novice Member
Hello there,

I have a Sony Bravia kdl-24ex320 model 2011 so quite old! I actually purchased it back then but haven't used for a number of years.

I've manage to connect it to my WiFi network successfully but I'm unable to access the Internet on the TV.

Image of the error 2200 message attached.

I've tried all the resetting etc but nothing works.

Any help on what I should do will be gratefully received! :)

It's quite common for TV's of that vintage to no longer connect to the internet and be supported by the manufacturer as things have moved on quite a bit since 2011.
Check in the TV's menu to see if there’s a software update available but if not just buy and use an Amazon Firestick or other streaming stick.

Hi there,

Thanks for this. I'm unable to update the software.

Will a fire stick work with a non HD TV? Sorry not very au fait with these things and Sony helpline is not very helpful!

All I want really is to watch you tube content (a spare tv to watch tutorials)

Your TV is HD.
It has 2 HDMI inputs on the rear.
Yes, a Firestick will work a treat plugged in either.

Ah! I thought it was HD but the Sony representative told me it was not!

You've been really helpful, thank you! I shall order a fire stick :)
