HELP - SMP-N200 Cannot Pause/FF/Rewind AVI Files On DLNA

Ok I have a very irritating problem/experience...

My SMP-N200 found my DLNA server right away (TVersity) and played the file immediately (Xvid AVI). Problem is that it will not let me Pause / Fast Forward / Rewind the movie at all. It either tells me "Cannot perform that operation at this time" or "This operation currently prohibited for this disc".

I tried many different files but all I have are AVI's.
I tried transcoding and direct streaming.
I also tried using ps3mediaserver and at least that one let me Pause, but that's it.

Does this device have limitations on doing these basic functions with DLNA files? Does anybody know what the problem/fix is?

P.S. Tried the files directly on USB Hard Drive and they worked perfect. But that's not the way DLNA is meant to work.
