    hey all,
finally got the JVC LT32DS6 and happy with it. Only thing when connecting to the PC via DSUB it doesn't do 1:1 mapping and so you end up with a stretched image which is sorta ok for video except for subtitles. But trying to work on it as a PC is a strain. So I'd read somewhere about being able to hook up via DVI to HDMI port but can't find the article anywhere. Has anyone managed this and can they give any advice on what resolution they got going and what video cards they were using ?

    thanks all

    Ronan

PS what is the best resolution to hope for via HDMI on a 1378 * 768 display

Just taken delivery of a JVC LT32DS6 and I'm having problems with set up. I am a complete novice, so no surprises. Problem relates to component connection where no picture is being received, although sound is...!
I have JVC TH S9 home cinema system, Phillips DVDR 610 and Sky+. Could anyone explain the best set up options for me to take to get the best possible pictures from both DVD and Sky.

Agree with everyon else, manual is crap....

check that you haven't got rgb selected as output on your dvd as component wont work if rgb is selected as output, change it to video or s-video
