:hiya: People, I am looking into wireless networking my PC and a laptop,

I currently use ADSL at 512k, hopfully this will be upgraded to 2mb later this month, BT dependant,

I want to use the laptop in anyroom in house to connect to my printer which has a connection for Ethernet cat5 connection I also want to be able to use the laptop to connect to the internet from anyroom in the house as well, I only have 2 other requirements, I may want to add other items is furture, not sure what yet,(Future proofing) if there is such a thing, the other thing I want, is to be able to control the internet access use to the laptop, ie turn off the internet connection to laptop but still have internet connection on the main PC, the reason for this my daughter will the main user of the laptop, bit of parental responsiblity here.

Any offer of advice and own experience would be much appreicated.

:hiya: hornydragon, Great minds must think a like, I brought the Netgear last night, took about 5 mins to get up and running, after an hour all links were lost, quick call to the help line (In India), it was a bit , I hadn't swtiched of the XP firewall, after that all has been well. Blinding piece of kit.

Looking forward to being actived to 2MB ADSL on Tuesday and using my daugther's new laptop via wireless :smashin:
