I am plugging my home made HTPC tommorrow in to my Sanyo Z3, can anyone tell me their powerstrip settings. Can you damage the projector if you get it wrong?

    Cheers
    Robert.

Can't tell you the settings you'll need but PStrip has a built-in 1280x720@60hz which is a good starting point, just look through the Custom Settings and you'll find one called "1280 x 720 (DVI/HDCP derived)" (it's about 1/2 way down the unsorted list). I used that one for my Z2.

I'm not 100% sure but I don't think it's possible to damage a digital projector with poor settings, they all seem to protect themselves against accepting silly numbers, CRTs driven by analog signals had no built-in intelligence so didn't have such protection.
