 Just hooked up my new PW7 from AV Sales ( Great company ) and have a strange issue.

    System is as follows - Pioneer DV717 - Sky+ - Denon AVR3300 - JS RGB/VGA converter - PW7

When watching pictures in 16.9 format if the picture is light or has yellows or whites the top and bottom black bars turn varying shades of red!

    HELP!!!!!!!!!

If the contrast setting on the PW7 is set at really loony levels you can get noticeably nasty unwanted colours in the black bars that display when watching non-16:9 material with the screen set to 16:9. If you haven't already done so switch off dynamic mode (cinema or normal should be the choice), reduce contrast from the out of the box setting, set brightness accordingly and check out ISF calibration as a longer term solution.
