    I'm presuming a Pioneer 575 is a DVD player?
If so, it will probably have audio outputs..........maybe right/left phono sockets?..........get a scart to 3 phonos lead........they are usually available with a in/out switch on the scart plug end and use the red and white phono plugs which carry audio, just leave the yellow (composite video) hanging free.

Connect the component cable to DVD , enter menu and select component connection as the dvd source. Connect a scart lead between TV and DVD this will carry the sound.
