    Hi,

Is there any better method than shouting down from the attic to the wife when positioning an aerial for freeview? :D

Our current signal is fairly poor, fine one day, breaking up the next. I'm positive it's just a case of positioning the aerial in the loft, at the moment it's just slung in any position that seemed to not break up.

Aerial is a um.. 'big one' that presently isn't fixed to anything just propped up in the attic. Should I get someone to look at the reception meter when moving it?

Any other tips or any devices I could borrow/hire to help?

    Cheers

    Dom

    Hi

Look at the other aerials, it should point towards the transmitter.

Get it mounted outside.........you'll get a far better signal.

Agree with JayCee, but get the wife to fix it and shout down to you! :rotfl:

(Seriously, it's well worth getting an outside aerial professionally installed.)
