I've had a Yamaha DSP AX620 amp for around 6 mnths, and have just added an Eltax atomic Active sub to the system.

I'm having problems setting the thing up. At present there's no Bass at all, not a flicker from the sub when connected to Pre Sub out . I have the speakers set in configured to SML ,altering LFE has no effect.

The only time I have managed to get any response from the sub is by connecting the front L/R speakers through the Atomic. Then I can get bass out but it's very poor and the Vol needs to racked up to the Maximum even then.

Does anyone have any idea of what's wrong with my system.

    Help, suggestions gratefully recieved.

Do you have the bass set to 'SWFR' ?
    (menu button, then speaker set)

Yes I've tried setting the output to SWFR and BOTH but the Bass is still trash.
