Help Please??

hi all ;-)

I've got a toshiba 42" HD ready lcd tv.

Sony HD dvd player

Bought 3 HD dvd movies i really like.

Question: to get them to appear as HD quality, do I have to alter any settings on the TV? or is it just a case of whack the HD dvd into the HD dvd player and VOILA, you i'll have HD quality?

here is the dvd player i've got, I take it that it is definitely a HD dvd player??

also, is this TV a decent one? its the one i've got, didn't want to spend mor than £900.

I'm no expert, but that dvd player doesn't look like a HD-DVD player to me at all, just a normal DVD player with a HDMI output that upscales the picture to a HD res. So your HD-DVDs wont play in it, just normal dvds.

If i'm wrong then fine.
