    So my question please is can anybody advise on a camera that starts at 28mm or less but has a decent long end as well say the normall 110 mm or there abouts , Please help my good lady is not amused thanks.

    Sold one bought a new one 2 months ago dealer had 3 on his shelves found them on e bay ,, as i loved the way they took photos , now dont know if to keep it or have a fz 5 , not opened the new FZ 2, now this week bought this Rollei , only to find it only goes up to 85 mm ,wife not pleased as it was to be the family /holiday snapper, fz 2 on e bay as well , but if no takers might open it and use it for my use only thanks for your interst , any other cameras small that do 28-110 + peep hole and pocketable cant seem to find one .

    Choice of these for 28mm plus zoom 200mm features
    Minolta DiMAGE 7Hi, Konica Minolta DiMAGE A200, Canon PowerShot Pro1, Konica Minolta DiMAGE A2
    All 13cm macros though.
    Not too compact either, but cracking cameras all of them.

    Nikon Coolpix 5400 though has 28mm to 116mm
    1 cm macro mode too. Does Tiff too.

    Damn, I just think i found you a camera :)

    There might be a newer replacement for the 5400.
    It had one issue of slow write times :(
