I don't know much about this area so would really appreciate someone's advice. I've got a Sony 735 DVD player and want to add a TV and sound system to it. I don't watch tv much but do rent a lot of movies. I've only got about £2,000 to spend but have no idea what I should/could buy. Anyone any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

What size of TV are you after?

The main ones I've seen are from the manufacturers of Philips, Panasonic and Toshiba. There is also Loewe which is the most expensive.

Price varies depending on features e.g. if it's 100hz, etc.

    good luck in your search!

    Cheers

I was thinking of a 32" widescreen set as I didn't think I'd be able to afford a decent 36" set as well as a reasonable sound set up.

I'm sure other people will reply, but my choices for a 32" model were the Tosh picture frame (there's some new models out soon too), Panasonic Pl10 or Philips Pixel Plus 9617. I was going to go for the 32" Pixel Plus, but couldn't find it in stock anywhere so I've gone for the 36" version!

    Cheers
