I have recently received a Bose 3-2-1 system from a relative who has moved out of the country. Problem is I don't know how to set it up! I've easily enough connected the box to the speakers and subwoofer but don't know how to connect it to the TV.

There is no scart socket on the back of the box, just lots of the red, white and yellow inputs/outputs.

    What do I need here?

    Thanks, and excuse my newbieness.

    Hi amrad,

After a little search through the web i think i've found your system :
    http://www.bose.com/controller?even...d_inthebox&linksource=productnav_txt_inthebox

As it states in the technical data you can connect to the tv via composite (lowest picture quality, 1 cable yellow connector); S-Video (somewhat medium quality black connector with 4 pins) and component (YUV 3 cables Red/Green/Blue Good quality!)

The Red/White pair is for stereo audio (Left/Right)

I would connect to the TV via component (YUV) but you have to see if the tv accepts this connection (search the back panel for the Red/Green/Blue trio). If not use a S-video.
