    Hi

i have done loads of research and can't seem to find a 55" LCD that meets the below requirements to replace my current 40" Sony W5500 series TV.

    Requirements
    1) 55" size will be ideal
    2) PS3 Gaming - so Input Lag needs to be as good or better then my current 40" W5500 - which i think is around 20 to 30ms.
    3) Non reflective screen if possible as it will be facing a window. - i.e. NOT a Glossy screen.
    4) Does not need to be 3d - as my eyes will not see any benefit to 3d.
    5) LCD not plasma... - i know plasmas have improved loads over the last few years, but I have have bad experiences with image retention\burn previously with plasmas and its put me off them completely; I like the sharpness of LCDs as well.
    6) not fussed if its LED backlit or not.

I was all set to go for the KDL-55EX503 - however the long response time \ input lag of approx 60ms put me off it.

Then I was going to get the smaller LG infini 8900 46" , but its screen was too glossy.

Then I was thinking of going for the Toshiba 55WL768 - but the screen seems to be glossy... and I don't really want 3d.

Any recommendations??? - please help.... :lease::lease:

Also where to buy from... i want a tv urgently.

    Thank you

    Hi,

I would prefer to keep to £1600 or under, but I can stretch to £2300 if really needed.

    Thanks
    Stu
