Well today I took deli every of my brand new 28" Philips 6006, picture is superb, I have one tiny, little problem.
    No sound.
    Not even a whisper.
At the moment I have only tried this with a aerial lead from my video and directly from an external aerial.
I've not pressed or done anything, apart from tune in the TV to my video and terrestrial channels.

I've got this horrible feeling that I'm going to have to phone up and get it replaced, or am I being stupid and missing the obvious.
Yes I have checked it's not in mute.

    thanks

    It sounds buggered mate.

Unless you have mute on ;-)

At least you got a good one !

I just sent my second one back due to an interference and buzzing problem using RGB connection.

Just been out today and nothing else in the price range beats it :-(

Dice_man, daft question, but have you checked your delta volume is not set in the minus region on all channels, as besides the mute this is the only reason, apart from cable/vcr problems, I can think of that could be causing such a problem.

Otherwise it looks gloomy, (what an utter pain :( )

I had a problem with the geometry on my 6006 (self inflicted ) and credit to unbeatable they did send an engineer  that same day, although I did sort the geometry out through help on this forum.

hope you get it sorted, let us know how you get on
