Help Please, AVC-A11SR Vs AVC-A10SE

    Could you please let me know if i would see a great difference between these two amps in terms of sonic performance.

    I am very please with the performance the 10SE has given over the last few months (using Power section of Audiolab 8000a for rear channels) but have the chance now to upgrade.

    I can buy a second hand 11SE for £550 which think is reasonable seeing as i could nearly get the same selling my old amps seperately. The main difference that i can see is that i'll lose the 2nd box, and gain a few extra surround modes especially PLII & DTS Discrete spring to mind.

    Any comments please....Trying to convince the missus here :lease:

    The difference is not massive as the A10SE is a great AV Amp, but there are differences. The A11SR has more detail and superior surround steering and imaging. The extra modes are also an advantage. If it's not going to cost you much to change then I'd go for it. :)

    I've gone for it and agreed to buy the amp.
    Looks like there will be an AVC-A10SE + Audiolab 8000a up for grabs soon.
