I sit around 2.6 - 2.8m from my TV. My side speaker are directly facing the main listening position (1m either side to my ears assuming I'm sat in the center of the sofa) but as they are monopole speakers, sound seems to be very directional. They are also only a few inches above my head on dvd racks which doesn't help/ I do not have the luxury of wall-mounting the sides annoyingly or buying new speakers. My placement is below.
Speakers: Q Acoustics Q2000i 5.1 package
(Q Acoustics 2000i 5.1 Pack | 5.1 Speaker Package | Richer Sounds
AVR: Yamaha RX-V675
Would it be better if I moved them so they are further behind and facing the MLP?
Am I stuck without mounting them?
