Help playing HD content from Laptop to LCD

    Hi All

    I have connected a laptop to my screen (32ld7200) via d-sub and can see windows etc on my screen but when I try and run HD via windows media player it plays on the laptop screen ok but windows media player just shows black bars on my TV ? weird !

    Any Ideas on how to view HD on my new screen ?

    you have to play about with the monitor settings, Try setting it up so that only the lcd screen is showing an image. It should work then.

    It is do with visual images not being able to be broadcasted to seperate screens due to license laws etc. There is a way to get it on both I think, but needs a bit more playing about.

    he is right.

    or just swap the monitors over (i.e monitor 2 to becomes monitor 1), via the display control panel.
    I think its related to the macrovision, can be changed but its a hassle.
