help picking 26" lcd screen

    please has anyone got any suggestions for a decent picture quality on a 26" lcd screen,not worried about sound quality as will be connected to amp basically will be connected to a sky + box& dvd player :lease:

    I'm waiting to see what the Toshiba 27WL46 is like, it should be out within the next week or two.

    I have just got the Toshiba 26WL46. This was the second best of the 26" screens IMO - not quite as good as the Panasonic, but there was not enough difference to justify the £400 extra outlay.

    I think that a lot of the Panasonic's advantage is to do with the built in Freeview. I have tried my Tosh connected to an external freeview box, and the picture quality is far better than the built in analogue tuner.

    I also preferred the styling of the Toshiba screen.
