HELP!!!!!!!!!! pc to tv connection..............

    Hi I' trying to connect my laptop up to my sony kv36fs and having no joy. I've got an s video lead and there is a port for it on the front of the tv (av5)

    I've connected the lead to both the pc and the telly but I cant get anything!?

    Where am I goin wrong??

    I've also tried the scart block thingy that came with the lead in every socket on the back of the set but again nothin.

    Please help before I lob the bleedin thing through the window!!!

    Is there anythin I've got to do with the laptop settings or somethin??

    think you need to press F7 on laptop to enable tv out:)

    also check that youve selected s-video in on av5.

    Aaaaarrgghhhh!!!

    Tried the f7 thing but no joy.

    I cant find any option in the tv menu to select s-video????

    HELP!!
