I had a power cut and when I went to boot my pc up again the partition I was using i can't access on my hard drive. I have 2 operating systems installed on my hard drive I can access c: but my 2nd partition was F: I am able to boot up my other partition c: and when I load up the other partition shows up in my computer but as now as D: I tried accessing the data from my computer but it's not letting me access it.

Is there somehow if I changed the letter of the partition back to F: would I be able to access it as normal but not sure what to do.

    many thanks

Changing the drive letter is easy , see here

How to change drive letter assignments in Windows XP

You dont say what the main OS you are using is , but its pretty similar for XP or Vista

Im not sure if thats going to help your boot issue though , see the warning at the start of the instructions.
